The Process

Here are some broad steps describing the process of setting up your online service

1. Planning

We need to be on the same page when planning what work needs to be done. Only then can a project be successful and enjoyable in the process.

First, we need to gather information from you. Tell us about your business, goals, target audience, ideas, budget, timeline and more. The Project planner will help you. You’ll supply us with all the content (text and media) that you have available.

At this stage, there’ll be lots of communication and you’ll see a first set of wireframes depending on the complexity of your website.

As a matter of fact, you can usually expect to only see any graphic design about 3/4 of the way into the process.

2. Design and code

We use open source software and contemporary online services to maximum effect.

With these technologies at our disposal, rather than trying to fit a round peg into a square hole, we customise your website to suit your business needs exactly. The result is much like a tailored suit which always looks sharper and feels (or works) better.

We take the information and ideas from the planning stage, and with the help of the wireframe put them into a conceptual design. You are sent flat images or a working version for feedback and approval. Then we’ll tweak and revise the details. Due to good planning, only a maximum of 2 revisions are necessary.

We’ll then proceed with coding and developing the design into the fully functional website that complies with web standards.

We test the site for functionality and cross browser compatibility. Then submit it for final review. After getting your approval, we are ready to launch!
