Information Finalist at the ANZIA internet awards 2011!
Instead of printing old fashioned brochures to raise greater awareness of the town and local businesses, the Foster Chamber decided instead to commission Loud Mountain to create and maintain a website. Unlike a paper brochure, it’s an ongoing and dynamic form of promotion, a community asset and of course much more environmentally friendly.
Features include: Business listings, events calendar, classified ads, users can upload content/business listing info etc, community noticeboard, latest posts, featured posts/listings are highlighted, Google Adsense ads management, blog facility for organisations, full CMS administration documentation.
Technical setup:
HTML5, CSS2, Loud Mountain web hosting, @fontface fonts, 2 x custom post types, search engine optimised.
