The Broadband Service Locator is a free online tool to help you obtain a broadband service by providing you with contact details of commercial ISP's that may offer a broadband service in your area. Then it's up to you to compare the plans and find the most suitable one for you. This is a free government service.

BACKGROUND INFO: Thankfully, there are now many ISP's (Internet Service Providers) that service the Gippsland region. This provides healthy competition resulting in savings for the consumer. An ISP's main role is to provide the link from your computer to the internet via your existing copper phone line (dial-up or ADSL), satellite or wireless. ISP's also offer you extras such as an email address with their plans that has their own company name in it eg. yourname@ISPNAME.net.au. Some also provide free (but very limited) hosting for a web site.

Resizing photos for the web can be easy

Many people ask me how to resize photos without having to buy an expensive programme for the job. Well, there are many free tools available on the net, but it's a matter of finding the one that works smoothly and reliably. Here are my 2 small and simple finds that you can download for free.
